Salman Khan house firing case update: 5th accused sent to police remand till May 13

In the most recent development in the Salman Khan house firing case, Rajasthani national Muhammad Chaudhary, the fifth accused, has been placed under arrest by the Crime Branch and held until May 13. The actor’s apartment building was inspected on April 12 by the accused Rafiq Chaudhary, who was detained in Rajasthan. He also recorded the visit and forwarded it to Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently incarcerated.

The Mumbai Crime Branch claims that the gunmen, who are said to have fired outside Salman Khan’s home, had two firearms and were given the instruction to fire ten rounds of ammunition. The actor’s apartment, the Galaxy Apartments, was the target of four gunshots fired by two people who arrived on a motorcycle early on April 14. The attackers swiftly left the location after the event. Both of the suspects were carrying backpacks and wearing headgear, according to surveillance footage.

The Mumbai Crime Branch requested in a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs earlier this month that Anmol, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, be the subject of vigilant surveillance. A few hours after the event, Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the gunfire at Salman Khan’s house via his Facebook profile.

Salman’s security level was raised to Y-Plus in 2022 in response to threats made by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, for those who are unaware. In order to enhance his security, the actor also purchased a new armored car and was given permission to carry a personal pistol.
