Norway’s beach handball team wins fight over sexist uniform rules
Big win for female players all over the world, as the Norwegian beach handball team wins fight over sexist uniform rules. The team had previously refused to wear the uniform claiming sexist intention in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, for which they were fined 1,500 euros. American musician Pink offered to pay the fine imposed on the team by the European Handball Federation for the rules breach but that wasn’t necessary. The uniforms now have been changed to tank tops according to the player’s preference.
I’m VERY proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team FOR PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR “uniform”. The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM. Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up.
