The palace was built over a period of 400 years by different Rajput rulers. Started in 1553 by Maharana Udai Singh II, the palace is a symbol of royalty. Spread across a huge area, the palace is built on top of a hill overlooking Lake Pichola. The palace is made of marble and granite and is a blend of Medieval European, Chinese and Rajput architecture. Everything in the palace is worth admiring, and we suggest spending a good amount of time here.

The beauty of Udaipur lies in its lakes. It is known as the City of Lakes for a reason, and not taking out time to truly enjoy the water will be redundant. As you look at the water and quietly take in your surroundings, you will count yourself truly lucky to have experienced this feeling.
