The Indian start-up, Akasa Air is set to launch operations on the international route starting Kuwait from 23rd August marking it as the fifth international route for Akasa Air which shall complete two years of its operations next month. Speaking about the new routes, the airline said a daily direct flight between Kuwait City and Mumbai will start from August 23. The carrier stated the service will provide a new destination with extra passenger and cargo capacity and it will seize the ever existing VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) as well as business traffic between India and Kuwait.
Akasa Air, which is in its second year of operations and is slated to clock two years next month, currently, has international connectivity to four overseas destinations comprising of Doha, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi in UAE besides 22 domestic destinations. A new airline called Akasa Air began operating on the 7th of August in the year 2022.
