There is no word to describe an innings of 1000 runs, in the books cricket.
After smashing 1000 runs in 323 balls , a 15-year-old boy Pranav Dhanawade was trending on twitter.
Pranav is a son of rickshaw driver. With the help of 129 fours and 59 sixes in his 327 ball innings that lasted 396 minutes, he reaches to 1009 runs.
Two of his sixes also resulted in a couple of broken window panes.
He is the student of 10th standard of KC Gandhi School, was up against Arya Gurukul school in Bhandari Trophy under -16 Thane suburbs inter schools tournaments which is recognized Mumbai cricket Association.
He also shared two 500 run partnership – 546 with Aakash Singh for opening wicket and 530 for second wicket with Siddesh Patil.
In organized cricket, nobody is believed to have scored more than 700 runs individually. Before this the record of highest individual score is with AEJ colins, who held the record since 1899.
