World Disabled day was celebrated in a school of Aligarh!
World Disabled day that is celebrated on 3rd December every year was also celebrated in the Prag Narain Mook Badhir Vidyalaya , the school for hearing and speech impaired students that is located in the heart of Aligarh. The school enjoys a rare distinction of being in the top few such institutes in India, imparting such education for the last 48 years.
On the occasion of world disabled day an event was organized, in which despite not being able to speak or hear, students performed flawlessly choreographed dances. During the event many guest were present including Mr.Santosh Kumar Sharma, Municipal Commissioner, Mr. K.N Seghal, Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Kr. Mahendra Pratap Singh Tomar and many more eminent personalities were also there.
Mr. Ramji Lal Mathuria, the principal flagged off the event with a welcome address to the eminent guests and parents. Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Santosh Kumar Sharma, impressed with the school, granted a new tube well to the school from municipal funds, and lauded the school’s Principal, teachers and it’s management for the good work being done by them in the field of education for the hearing and speech impared.
