Like the prodigal son, Senior politician Buta Singh, 80, who was the Union Minister in Former PM Rajiv Gandhi, rejoined the congress.
An MP several times since the 1960s, he served as India’s Home Minister, Agricuture Minister, and also Governor of Bihar in the past.
Party leader Ajay Maked said “It will help congress because he is one of the tallest leader from Balmiki Community.”
