Vijay Mallya calls the authorities to London for interrogation
The Indian tycoon Vijay Mallya has accused the Indian authorities of conducting a “witch hunt” against him. He even invited them to London for interviewing him, claiming that he has “nothing to hide”.
In an interview Mallya said that coming to Indian is not possible for him because his diplomatic passport has been cancelled.
He described the case as a witch hunt and added that he just has to ride out the storm.

The Indian authorities had access to many of the executives of Kingfisher Airlines, and had seen thousands of documents. If the missing link is only my interview then come to London and interview me, or get on the radio conference or send me an email with questions and I will reply. I have nothing to hide, Mallya said.
“It seems contradictory and disconcerting, that because I’m not physically present in India, they will issue an arrest warrant against me and cancel my passport,”the 60-year-old added.
