Days after the murder, the body of an Uttarakhandi nurse who had been raped and killed was discovered in Uttar Pradesh. On July 31, the nurse was reported missing. August 8 was the day the cops found her body. In relation to the crime, a couple from Rajasthan has been taken into custody. On July 31, the victim’s sister reported her missing at the Rudrapur police station in Uttarakhand. Without delay, the police opened an inquiry. The woman’s lifeless body was discovered in the bushes in the town of Bilaspur, Uttar Pradesh, on August 8.

The post-mortem report attested to the nurse’s death by choking following a rape. The woman was last captured on camera on July 30 as she made her way back from work at a private hospital in Rudrapur. She was spotted on the video in the Dibdiba neighborhood of Bilaspur, a town close to Rudrapur. The police followed up on this lead, sending out additional teams and monitoring her cell phone.

The police discovered a suspicious individual who had been following the woman that fatal day after reviewing CCTV footage from the area around the homicide scene. Their research took them to the Uttar Pradesh district of Bareilly. But by the time the cops got there, the suspect had already left. Subsequently, the police covered Rajasthan and Haryana in their quest. In the end, Dharmendra, the suspect, was found in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He and his spouse were taken into custody by the police and taken to Rudrapur to be questioned.

The crime’s specifics were verified by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manjunath TC, who also promised that the perpetrator would be subject to severe legal consequences.
