Udaipur stabbing incident: Police bulldozes attacker’s house after communal tensions rose
Following the outbreak of communal unrest in Udaipur, Rajasthan, the stabber who attacked his schoolmate’s home was forced to live in a bulldozer on Saturday by the authorities. Even though the altercation’s origin was unclear, it sparked intercommunal strife, which prompted the city’s officials to implement Section 144. As a result of violence mobile internet was also shut off for a full day in a number of Udaipur neighborhoods, and all schools were instructed to stay closed.
What was the stabbing incident?
An incident involving a Class 10 student stabbing another student took place at a government school in Bhattiyani Chohatta. The police stated that the disagreement caused violence throughout the city, with an angry mob hurling stones and burning three or four cars on fire, even though the exact cause of the altercation is still being investigated.
Authorities and the community are still in quest of explanations as the attack’s motivation remains ambiguous. The victim was taken to the district hospital without delay.

Current Situation:
According to District Collector Arvind Poswal the injured student’s status in the intensive care unit was stable at the moment. The accused has been taken into custody together with his father. Poswal informed the populace that the issue was being closely watched and advised locals to refrain from circulating rumors.
Additional police officers were called to the area in response to the growing disturbance, including IPS Rajendra Prasad Goyal, who was tasked with bringing the situation back under control. The situation was closely followed by the Jaipur Police Headquarters. Udaipur Range police were instructed to quickly manage the situation by Additional Director General (ADG) Law and Order Vishal Bansal and Director General of Police (DGP) UR Sahu. They were instructed to deal with those who were escalating the disturbances. The DGP asked everyone to disregard any communications or rumors that can further sabotage peace in the community.
