Tropical forests of Indian Map Size, Cut Down
According to Center of Global Development satellite data imagery predictions, they are witnessing a faster rate of deforestation in which it will create a global rise of temperature of more than 2 degrees.
Around 289 million hectares of tropical rainforests, the area size of India will be destroyed due to extensive dependence on intensive commercial agriculture for commodities such as soy and palm oil. This will contribute to releasing almost 200 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by 2050.
