THE SLIDE, BY LEXUS

Earlier this week, Lexus took a step ahead by unveiling their hoverboard named ‘The Slide’. Its teaser alone generated millions of viewership after which they released a fully fledged ad describing all details of the board. Watch the ad below:

Unlike any other skateboard, the hoverboard will stay afloat due to the use of liquid nitrogen-cooled super conductors and permanent magnets. Also, it will only function on a magnetic track and not usual surfaces.

People who have been waiting for the product since Lexus announced its launch will have to wait further since the luxury vehicle manufacturer has not yet finalised the dates when ‘The Slide’ will go out on sale, if at all it will.

Lexus are also not planning to build up on the technology of this product anytime in the near future.
