World Leaders, including US President Barak Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, British Prime Minister David Cameron and others have gathered in Antalya in Turkey for the G-20 Summit.
As the name implies, G-20 is the group of 20 leading world economies in the World. However, in the aftermath of the ISIS attack on Paris, discussions on the sidelines of the summit were focussed on Syria.
Therefore, it was only natural for Obama and Putin to informally discuss their plans for the future of Syria, and to try to work out a solution to the vexing issue of what is to be done with the current ruler of Syria – Assad.
As it turns out, this is the only major stumbling block between Russia and USA to come to an agreement as to how to proceed to bring about peace and a new viable government in Syria.
