Swati Maliwal Assault Case: Delhi Police To Interrogate Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘Ailing’ Parents Today

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has claimed that his parents will be questioned by the Delhi Police when they come to his house on Thursday in relation to Swati Maliwal Assault Case. Kejriwal did not provide any further information or explain why, although rumors have it had something to do with the assault case involving Swati Maliwal. He wrote in Hindi on X, “Tomorrow, Delhi Police will come to interrogate my old and ailing parents.” The party’s Rajya Sabha member for Swati Maliwal had said that on May 13, when she went to see Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bibhav Kumar, Kejriwal’s personal aide, “assaulted” her. After filing a report, the police have taken Kumar into custody. Maliwal was merely a BJP pawn, according to the AAP, which refuted the charge.

Atishi, a top AAP leader and cabinet member for Delhi, claimed in a news conference on Wednesday that the BJP has been hatching “new conspiracies” against AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal ever since he was granted interim bail. “They now employed a cheap strategy. She asserted, “PM Modi has asked his Delhi Police to investigate Kejriwal’s elderly and sick parents, and the people of Delhi will answer with their votes.”

All the old people have blessed him for his service to them. Such horrors are being inflicted upon his parents now.

In response, Kejriwal responded to the case on Wednesday, saying that justice ought to be done in the case and that he anticipated a fair probe into the situation. The chief minister stated that the issue is “sub-judice” at the moment and that his remarks could have an impact on the proceedings in an interview with PTI. Maliwal responded as follows: “The Chief Minister, whose drawing room I was beaten up in, has finally stated that he wants a free and fair investigation into the matter after unleashing the entire army of leaders and volunteers at me, calling me a BJP agent, assassinating my character, leaking edited videos, victim shaming me, roaming around with the accused, letting him re-enter the crime scene and tamper evidence, and protesting in favour of the accused.
