As the National Green Tribunal (NGT) questions Centre and Delhi Government over the ongoing preparations for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s World Culture Festival on Yamuna banks, the Ministry of Water Resources informed National Green Tribunal (NGT) that it has not granted permission for ‘World Cultural Festival’ scheduled from March 11 to 13.
Asserting that the World Culture Festival being organized by the Art of Living foundation on the Yamuna floodplains was an event to unite everyone, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar appealed to all parties to not politicize the mega function.
Taking to Twitter, Sri Sri said, “I appeal to all parties to not politicize the #WCF2016.”
He further added, “It is (event) to unite all cultures, nations, religions & ideologies. Let’s come together!”
