Special Court will articulate jail term of Rungtas on April 4

The special court has reserved its order on punishment for Jharkhand ISPAT Private limited and its two directors in coal block case till April 4th.

According to re[orts, while arguing in front of special court, CBI said that the convicts had committed economic offences with calculative minds so they deserved to be punished.

Notably, both convicts were held guilty by the Court on various charges on March 28th including deceiving and defrauding the government to bag a coal blocks in the state.

From the convicts’ side the argument was kept that there is no serious case in pending against them and in other cases they are either acquitted or they have been settled. The court has asked convicts counsel to submit an affidavit in this regard and have kept the order reserved.
