A Kashmir blue sapphire ring weighing 27.82 carats and a grey natural pearl necklace broke world price records at Sotheby’s Hong Kong sale recently.
The pearl sting fetched US $ 5.3 Million, while the rare Kashmir Blue went for an astounding US$ 6.75 Million.
Both pieces were picked up by collecters in Hong Kong itself.
