Russia recently entered the Syrian war with the overt objective of helping the fight against ISIS. However, on their first day of aerial bombing, they targetted the rebels opposed to Assad instead of ISIS, which they claimed was a ‘mistake.’
However, shrugging off all pretensions about the real reason for their entry into Syria, Russiaian Air Force openly attacked the rebels in conjunction with the Asad troups who are occupying the stratigic town of Homs.
