Actress Kareena Kapoor, who starred in the critically acclaimed film Chameli produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, shared pictures from the movie’s set on Instagram Stories. In the photos, Kareena is seen smiling alongside Nandy, wearing her iconic red saree from the film. She accompanied the images with heart, folded hands, and infinity emojis as a tribute.
Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra, who directed Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi under Nandy’s banner, expressed his sorrow on X (formerly Twitter). “Pritish Nandy changed my life. Only he could make Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. He taught me so much. I am so sorry, Pritish Da,” wrote Mishra.
Actor Sanjay Dutt, who worked in Pritish Nandy’s productions like Kaante and Shabd, also shared his condolences on X. “A true creative genius and a kind soul, you will be missed, sir,” Dutt wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of Nandy.
Actor Anil Kapoor expressed his grief, stating, “Shocked and heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend Pritish Nandy. A fearless editor, a brave soul, and a man of his word, he embodied integrity like no other.”
