According to reports, prices of pulses will come down in the next 15 days as traders have contracted to import 25 lakhs tones of pulses.
It is expected to be imported between October 15 and January 31.
Some of the stock has already arrived Mumbai.
However, trade bodies have requested to government to put stock limit on importers as this can disrupt fresh supply of pulses that will lead to scarcity.
