Pope Francis has welcomed the refugees with open arms and while addressing them at St. Peter’s Square said – “Your presence here at this square is a sign of hope in God”.
He instilled the feeling if hope and joy of living among the 5,000 refugees. The pope also said “Dear migrants and refugees, each of you carries a story, a culture and precious values”. He spoke on the World Day of Migrants and Refugees.
He also prayed for the lives of those who got attacked by extremists in Indonesia and Burkina Faso. He also thanked people who welcome them (the migrants) and help them. The Pope, while praying to the Lord, said “support the commitment if the international community to build peace.”
