Polling Begins in West Bengal for the Fourth Phase of Election
The fourth pha0se election in West Bengal began on Monday in 49 constituencies, which will include parts of Kolkata too. The fourth phase of the election will cover around Kolkata including 33 in North 24- Parganas and 16 seats in Howrah district.
According to reports, heavy security has been imposed to avoid any incidents of violence nearby the polling booths.
Notably, this year’s Assembly Polls have already faced a lot of violence as rival parties had a clash earlier. In fact , a CPI(M) worker was killed after a clash broke out with TMC member during the third phase of election.
Polling for the fourth phase begins in West Bengal
Section 144 has been imposed at various places to prevent the gathering of four – five people at a same place.
The voting started at 7 in the morning will get over at 6 in the evening. The counting of the votes will begin from May 19th and all the election procedures will get over on May 21st according to election commission.
