After Britain’s decision to exit the European Union, the residents of Britain started a petition which has now reached three million signatures.
The petition demands a second referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union.
This petition was started by William Oliver Healey who is an activist of a fringe rightwing group, English Democrats and a Leave campaigner.

30,48,000 people had signed the petition on the official website of UK Parliament till Sunday morning.
The figure has gone over the 1,00,000 signature threshold required to raise the topic in the House of Commons.
According to the experts, the petition is unlikely to make any difference despite of the fact that such a huge number of people signed it.
Election expert John Curtice said, “It’s no good people signing the petition now, they should have done it before. Even then, these petitions do not always mean a great deal”.
