One card, two transports
Smart cards in Metro sure have made life easier, especially for the daily commuters. Now our Metro Smart Cards will soon become multipurpose. A common travel card will soon allow us to move across the city in both the DTC buses as well as the Delhi metro.
A tender issued on 16th July by Delhi Tourism Corporation asks to procure computerised ticketing machines which will not only issue computerised tickets on payment of cash, but will also accept smart cards issued by Delhi Metro as well as DTC.
We will soon be traveling digital too! Yay!
