In what is the start of the diplomatic ties between USA and India, Prime Minister Nearndra Modi took out time before landing in USA and made a short trip to Ireland.
It is after 60 years, that any Prime minister of India visited Ireland. Our PM is not only reaching places figuratively,but also literally. The number of foreign trips that Modi had made is so huge that you cannot keep a tab. But, these visits have done India a huge help in improving its ties with various countries.
The inaugural welcome to Modi in Dublin, was very touching as it also included Small children reading out shlokas in Sanskrit.
After his meet with the Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Modi tweeted that India and Ireland will increase ties in areas of ‘trade, economy, technology and other areas’.
