In a visit to Britain, which has been dubbed as not strictly ‘state’, the red carpet has nevertheless been extended to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Instead of the black tie banquet, Modi was accorded something better… a private lunch with the British Queen. Going all out, the Queen took trouble to have memorabilia displayed from her Indian trips, taking Modi by surprise at the warmth and goodwill.
