Mission Green at Circuit House Tura
As part of the Mission Green initiative Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma undertook
an anvenue plantation of date palms along the road leading to Circuit House, Tura on Wednesday.
He emphasized the importance of coordinating with Green Ambassadors selected from various educational institutions of the State to adopt and look after the plantations. The Chief Minister also laid emphasis on keeping the immediate vicinity of the plantations neat, clean and garbage free by setting up a task force.
