Migrant children escape into fantasy world by drawing their future
The image of a drowned toddler Aylan Kurdi has brought into focus the darker side of migration crisis even more. This is specially pertinant as as the European winters will be creeping in slowly. Thousands are still pouring out of Afghanistan and the Middle East in which can be seen as parallels to World War II.
An overwhelmed Europe is still debating how to tackle the human exodus. Around the Budapest train station, scenes of migrant protest are growing and people are escaping from the camps to trek to Austria. This is just one of the places which are swamped by refugees.
Young asylum seekers in the cramped hallways quietly draw their dreams of life to escape from their harsh realities. Having escaped death or worse, while being grateful for the escape, they are still surrounded by an aura of uncertainity, of being displaced, of confusion and a fear for their future.
