A MiG-27 aircraft of the IAF crashed in a residential area of the city today, pilot wjects safely. According to the sources no causalities has been reported. SHO Basni police station Rajesh Yadav told that plane was crashed adjacent to a house in an open area in Mahaveer Nagar.
As per sources pilot was on routine training mission and he reported technical problem before landing the plane. IAF sources added that engine failed therefore pilot had to eject.
Although, the portion of an area where plane was crashed has damaged. A court of inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
