Meghalaya CM inaugurates production center for spices in Garo Hills

Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma inaugurated the Collection-cum-Production Centre for Spices under Horticulture department at Boro Latri near Ampati. There will be seven such centers in South West Garo Hills to attract buyers and investors in promoting the local products to be marketed globally.

Chief Minister said it was an initiative to setup scientific cold storage centers across the state to help provide assistance to farmers and entrepreneurs to seek better opportunities for their agriculture and horticulture products.
