Actress Mallobika Banerjii Attends The Protest Of Doctor’s Rape And Murder Case
The terrible death of a young doctor in Bengal has prompted actress Mallobika Banerjee to speak out in favor of women’s safety and justice. Mallobika Banerjii , a native of Bengal, was spotted actively taking part in protests yesterday night in response to the horrific incident that occurred at the R G Kar Hospital, when the defenseless doctor was raped and killed.

The actress also conveyed her extreme worry about the growing number of incidents of violence against women, especially among those who leave their hometowns to follow their aspirations. It’s dangerous for every lady to dream of something, she remarked, for them to have the guts to move away from their state and settle somewhere else. It’s terrible that a young woman who wanted to become a doctor in order to help people was the victim of such a horrible murder.
Mallobika also exhorted the people to respond to these injustices with concrete actions. This is just a tiny plea to everyone that it’s time for people to stop browsing through social media, say “Om Shanti” or “RIP,” and take a stand against all of this. I wouldn’t feel that this is the appropriate level of freedom for any of us till then.
She further said – We should observe 78th Independence Day, as a black day since in the past year, there have been numerous killings and crimes that have come to light. There are reports of girls being murdered or slain every day. Even after so many years of independence, are we still safe? Mallobika continued.
