Picture messaging app, Snapchat is about get under some major changes.The app that vanishes the messages once sent has started giving its users the option of storing images as “Memories” they can look back on.

Snapchat describes the new feature as a personal collection of favourite moments which would be kept safe below the smartphone camera screen.
According to the company, this new Memories feature will let people only save images, referred to as Snaps, that they send.
To avoid showing friends,the pictures not meant to be seen by them, snapchat has added a “My Eyes Only” tag for selected saved snaps.
The California based company said,”You can use Memories to create new Stories from Snaps you’ve taken,or even combine different Stories into a longer narrative.”
