Uttar Pradesh’s former CM Mayawati, or ‘Behenji’ as she prefers to be called, was questioned for a extended period by India’s Central Bureau of Investigation on charges of embezzlement and scam in the matter of National Rural Health Mission.
CBI claims to have new evidence against her, and it is allged that she was evasive about questions being put to her, and pretended to be ignorant about the matter.
