Let’s Understand and Start Living Hinduism II
Let us now talk about Sanaatan Dharma. Sanaatan Dharma stands on the pillars of scientific spirituality. Hindu literature has enough examples to show us that science and spirituality are integrated and walk hand in hand.
We, as Hindus, have used our scientific knowledge as a source to all the solutions of the problems we face in day-to-day life. We have also made use of our spiritual knowledge for attaining moksha and eternity through philosophy.
The day-to-day conduct in Hinduism is known as aacharan. Every conducthas spirituality integrated into it.Spirituality is the foundation of Sanaatan Dharma.
We normally confuse spirituality with religion. We know that Hinduism is not a religion because it was not created by an individual. We, as Hindus, follow spirituality as a part of day-to-day life. In other words, spirituality runs as blood in the veins of every Hindu. Generally everyone bears a wrong impression that spirituality is religion. Spirituality is different in HinduDharma.
The question of religion does not arise at all, because HinduDharma was not created by an individual. Spirituality is a part of every Hindu custom in the normal life of a Hindu.
