Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, who is right now in Japan for the meeting of cooperation in rail sector, has confirmed Japan’s participation in technology upgradation of Indian Railways.
Japan will study opportunities for such upgradation in cooperation with Indian Railways, which has already identified four hundred such stations to start with.
Additionally, Indian Railways would be investing $140 billion in the next five years to develop services of railways.
