Tara Hudson, aged 26 went through a sex change 6 years ago, becoming a woman in all respects.
Born Aaron, she always felt like a woman inside, and took the plunge at the age of 20, and went ahead with the life altering gender change surgery.
However, charged with assault, she has been sent to a hardened criminals prison – HMP Bristol for men.
This is because, despite all the medical evidence to the contrary, including statements from doctors, the Judge said that the passport says the gender is male, so that is that.
Now fears are rife for her safety, as even men are known not to be safe among sex starved prisoners.
