As the Paris COP21 is drawings closer, India will finalize its action plan in efforts to be part of climate agreement for a reduction in emission by the year 2020 and 2030. India world’s cumulative emissions as of today is 2.4%.

In order to be able to make a sustainable transfer reduction in emission, India recognizes it requires to intensify to have in place its finance, technology and various efficient capacity building measures to achieve its reduction through various sector-based industries from heavy industries, urban, infrastructure and rural development. Additionally, India also has to have energy efficient eco-systems for homes and create a climate-friendly building code.

It is through this cooperation of inputs with the Department of Commerce they can meet the emission control benchmarks.
