India a major defense partner for US
At the peak of developing stage, India is recognised as a ‘major partner for defence’ by US on Tuesday. This appreciation is related to the trade and technology transfer, which the country would now be treated at par with America’s closest allies.
Both Countries’ representatives in the conference wanted that all countries should cooperate, be consistent with its regular law used domestically.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest made us aware at his conference of daily news while saying “I can say that there was welcomed progress happening on finalizing agreements which relate defence logistics, sharing of maritime information, and even the movement of US aircraft carriers in the region.”
