Happy Index 2016!
The Happy Index for the year 2016 is out. The World Happiness Report 2016 Update, ranks 156 countries by their “happiness levels, was released in Rome in advance of UN World Happiness Day, March 20th”.
The report is prepared by Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Earth Institute at Columbia University.
According to the report, Denmark is the happiest place in the world and Burundi is the least happy place in the world.
Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and Sweden were the top 10 happy places in the world.
On the other hand, Madagascar, Tanzania, Liberia, Guinea, Rwanda, Benin, Afghanistan, Togo, Syria and Burundi were the bottom 10. Denmark has moved from the third position last year to the first, leaving Switzerland behind.
