Good News: Delhi might get relief from heat on Tuesday
Rain will soon hit Delhi and people will get some relief from scorching heat
After a scorching week, in which the mercury soared up to 45 degrees in Delhi resulting in a heat wave, the weather department is now expecting that Delhi might get relief from heat on Tuesday.
According to regional weather forecasting centre in Delhi, there could be a dust storm on Tuesday, followed by rain and a thundershower on Wednesday. Notably, that would bring down the temperature to around 41 degrees.
On Sunday, the temperature at Safdarjung, which is considered to be a representative of the city’s weather, was recorded 44.2 Celsius. Notably, it was four degrees above the normal temperature.
Some parts of Delhi witnessed heat wave such as Palam, Aya, where the mercury touched 45.8 degrees which was 5 degrees above the normal temperature.
The city had recorded its first heat wave on Saturday when the temperature shot up to 45 degrees, which was five degrees above the normal temperature. Well, the intense heat is approaching but some rain would give people of Delhi a little bit of relief from the heat.
