Drought hit farmers get a helping hand from Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure
Fed up with politicians playing the blame game, and simply procrastinating about the serious drought crisis which has hit Marathwada region of Maharastra since the past many years, Bollywood Actors Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure decided to do something about it themselves.
Anaspure broached the subject with Nana, and he agreed, that he was not happy with what was going on. Since the two of them had some money saved, they both decided to gift it to some women, whose husbands had comitted suicide, unable to bear the debt burden due to the drought.
They both landed up there, and gifted 1oo plus widows Rs.15 thousand each. However, still not satisfied with this gesture, they both decided to invest some more time, and find other means to help the devastated families.
