Police of South Delhi has started taking selfies with elderly people to provide them more safety and to develop friendly bond with them.
This sweet initiative was planned by district’s SHO Somnath Paruthi. In fact, a separate team has been designated called ‘Senior Citizens Welfare Officers”, it now has over 200 elderly residents under watch.
Everytime policeman takes a selfie , it creates their bond with elderly people. By this they are able to help them in day to day functioning.
