Earlier this year, an independent committee of experts was formed by Delhi government to look into the revision of pay of the Delhi MlA’s and finally the committee has come up with the new revised salaries of them.
The committee has proposed a hike from the current Rs. 88,000 to Rs. 2.10 Lakh per month including total salary and all the allowances.
The report will be soon given to Delhi Government and then it will thoroughly go through and will look at all the reasons and recommendation behind the hike.
Before the government’s approval, the report will be sent to LT Najeeb Jung for his approval and his consent will be taken on the proposal.
