Deadly cyclone Roanu could bring major landslides and floods
According to reports, Roanu deadly cyclone could bring great risk of flooding to northeastern India and Bangladesh, and slamming ashore during the first half of the weekend.
The first tropical cyclone of the season in the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh landfall near or just north of Chittagong on Saturday.

The cyclone will continue to graze north coast of Orissa and West Bengal of India on Friday night. The rain usually a total of 50-100 mm (2-4 inches) with higher amounts locally, causing some flooding incidents.
This threat will expand beyond the point of landfall, covering southern Bangladesh, northeastern India and western and northern Myanmar.
Extreme heat will ease for this weekend, but the hot conditions continue to exert pressure on residents throughout western and northern India well into next week.
