As the Bihar Elections are etching closer, the Congress is getting more and more edgy.
Sources believe that Congress will soon be approaching the Election commission and ask them to ban ‘Man Ki Baat’ till the Bihar Polls are over.
The date for polling is 28th October. Man Ki Baat is a radio programme which was an initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through which he reaches out to the people of the nation.
Congress believes that Modi will use the show to bring out positive points about his party, which will give him them an unfair advantage.
The EC has not said anything about the ban till now, but, sources say that they are not likely to agree with this request of the opposition.
