India’s Border Security Forces apprehended a Pakistani national who had crossed the international border by mistake.
The event happened in the district of Sri Ganganagar in the state of Rajasthan. On questioning, it turned out that the 20 year old Gulam Rasool had crossed the border by mistake.
Realising the futility of holding him, just for the sake of it, the BSF promptly contacted their Pakistani couterparts – Pakistani Rangers, and handed Rasool over to them. This was done to prevent harrassment to him.
