Autorickshaw Run from Shillong to Kochi

The beloved auto rickshaw in India was decorated by the pop color paints of endorsements of the participants from 23 countries. The 9th year running Rickshaw Run that began on Wednesday in Shillong will be travelling 5000 kilometers cross country for two weeks to arrive in Kochi.

For many of the participants they are looking forward to encounter the diversity of India like nothing they have ever come across. The event raises money for various charities and has collected USD 3.1 million with a part of the donations going to the official charity Cool Earth.
