Ahmed Mohammed, a 14 year old child living in Texas made a digital hand clock from his pencil box.
When he showed his teacher the brilliant invention of his, another teacher watching the proceeds, called in the police and got him arrested.
Why? Because the teacher thought that it was a bomb! Ahmed was arrested on the grounds that be had gotten a dummy bomb to school.
Though the police has agreed that there will be no charges against him, the social media has become outraged with this ridiculous behaviour and are siding their support for Ahmed in the form of #IstandWithAhmed.
Also, to difuse an otherwise volatile situation, President Obama has invited Ahmed to the Whitehouse, praising his invention.
