The Aadhaar card has become the most widely used identity card in India.
Around 92 crore people use Aadhaar card as their identity card which reportedly constitute 77% of the total population of the country and 92% of adult population.
On the other hand 60 crore people have voter ID cards, 17.3 crore have driving licences and 17 crore PAN cards.
