A delegation on the behalf of artists, writers, scientists and academics met the president of India, Pranab Mukherjee and discussed the issue of growing intolerance in country.
Poet Ashok Vajpeyi along with painter Vivan Sundaram and journalist Om Thanvi met the president and thanked him for repeatedly speaking about the growing intolerance in country.
The members requested the head of country to do all that is possible to advise and persuade centre as well as the state government to act decisively on the issue of growing intolerance to make country more expressive.
